Jim Zhang is a co-founder of Kaleido and the Head of Protocol. He is a maintainer of a number of open source projects including FireFly FabConnect and has contributed to the code bases of a number of blockchain protocols including Hyperledger Fabric, Quorum and Hyperledger Besu. Jim currently serves on the Hyperledger Technical Oversight Committee. He has held a Senior Technical Staff Member role as IBM’s blockchain platform lead architect. Jim received a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Fudan University in China, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University. He has 15 years of experience in building a diverse range of enterprise systems including SaaS, enterprise mobile, and Java EE.
