Kaleido Industry Chains are pre-built infrastructure stacks that connect financial institutions to industry blockchain networks such as Swift Ledger, DTCC, Project Agorá and the Canton Network.
Each one packages the node infrastructure, middleware and digital asset capabilities that network requires.Enterprise custody is no longer just about secure storage, it’s about flexibility, control, and confidence.
Every industry network arrives with its own onboarding process, node requirements, contracts, and operating model. Treating each one as a separate project leaves institutions running parallel stacks that share nothing. Industry Chains run on one platform, so each new network builds on the infrastructure you already operate.
An Industry Pack is a pre-built stack that connects a financial institution to a specific industry network. It combines Kaleido's chain infrastructure, Web3 middleware and digital asset layers with the workflows that network runs, so the institution can participate without assembling the components itself.
Industry Chains cover networks including Swift Ledger, DTCC, Project Agorá and the Canton Network, and Kaleido serves as a technology partner to Project Agorá. Networks not listed here can be onboarded through a governed process. Contact us to learn more.
The Swift Ledger is Swift's blockchain-based shared ledger for tokenized cross-border payments. It went live in July 2026 with 17 banks piloting around-the-clock payments using bank-issued tokenized deposits, with final settlement completed through existing systems. Kaleido is a technology partner for the Swift Ledger, and more than 70% of participating banks run on the Kaleido platform. With IBM Consulting, Kaleido offers a tokenized deposit solution for Swift Ledger.
Project Agorá is a BIS Innovation Hub project that explores how tokenized commercial bank deposits and tokenized wholesale central bank money can settle together on a shared programmable platform, with the goal of improving cross-border payments. Kaleido is a technology partner for Project Agorá, alongside the BIS and more than 40 financial institutions.
DTCC's tokenization service, offered through its subsidiary The Depository Trust Company (DTC), issues tokenized versions of DTC-custodied securities that carry the same legal rights, economic interest and investor protections as the traditional securities. DTC received an SEC no-action letter in December 2025 covering assets such as Russell 1000 equities, ETFs and US Treasuries, and the tokens can move between traditional and blockchain ecosystems. Kaleido's DTCC Industry Pack connects DTC Participants to the service on a pre-built stack.
The Clearing House (TCH) is a US payments company owned by large commercial banks. It operates core US payment systems, including CHIPS, the RTP network and ACH, and is building a tokenized deposit network that lets banks clear and settle tokenized deposits with one another, synchronized with the RTP and CHIPS networks.
Yes. Industry Chains use Kaleido's Interop Hub to orchestrate Delivery versus Payment (DvP) and Payment versus Payment (PvP) settlement across supported networks, including Canton. Each settlement can also coordinate with off-chain ledgers and settlement rails, so the on-chain and traditional legs of a transaction complete together.
Yes. Industry Chains integrate with enterprise HSMs and existing key management systems, or you can use Kaleido-managed wallets. Components connect through standard interfaces, so you can replace individual layers over time.
Because the stack is pre-built, institutions can move from onboarding to live transactions in weeks rather than months. Actual timelines also depend on each network's own onboarding requirements.
