Our blockchain journey began in 2015. While leading IBM's blockchain development, our founders saw both the promise and the problem. Blockchain could reshape how enterprises transact, but building a platform with the reliability, security, and governance those institutions actually require didn't exist yet. That's when Kaleido was born.
Our “Day 1" mission was to speed up enterprise and government adoption of blockchain, digital assets, and tokenization through radical simplification of the technology.
That mission took us deep into open source communities, into public blockchain ecosystems, and into a leadership position helping these organizations move from pilot to production, across tokenized deposits, wholesale CBDC, FMI networks, and more.
In so many ways it is still "Day 1" at Kaleido, and our mission remains the same.
